Drive to Govind Ghat
The trek begins from here through the valleys and leads to the famous valley of flowers and also the Hemkund. Govind Ghat has a gradual ascent and a pilgrim trail to reach Ghangaria. The trek is easy. You can also explore the surroundings here. This is also a stopover for those heading to Hemkund Sahib. Relax for the night
Day : 3
In the morning start the trek with a steep ascent to reach Hemkund Sahib
The chanting in the Gurudwaras sounds like a call to reach the top. You will pass the valley of flowers as you continue the trek up. There is a lake near the Gurudwara having crystal clear water. Brahma Kamal grows here in abundance. Trek back to Ghangaria for overnight stay
Day : 4
Early next morning trek to valley of flowers
The sight is impressive with an array of rare wildflowers like marigold, asters, campanula, Brahma Kamal, Morina, Geranium, and around 500 more species of flowers with medicinal values. Enjoy the small streams, the valleys and the waterfalls. Trek back to Ghangaria, which can be as exciting as going to the valley of flowers
Day : 5
Today trek down to Govind Ghat, the trek downward is easy and you still get to see the picturesque nature and the lovable weather that is about to turn rainy. Later you will be taken back to Badrinath, where you can explore the place. Badrinath is just a short distance away and is a religious place and an important pilgrimage place. Get back to Joshimath where you can relax and spend the night
Day : 6
Drive back to Haridwar. The trek ends here.
